Summers Corner Hosts Spring Soiree and Hopes to Preserve Beauty of Lowcountry

It is time to start packing up the winter coats and preparing for Spring! The warmer weather is definitely one its way in and, to celebrate, Summers Corner will be hosting a Home and Garden Party on March 12th.

Sabal_SummersCorner_TWWe invite you to join us for this celebration of Spring, where you can enjoy food trucks, live music, games for the little ones and much more. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore our model homes and get a taste of what your life could be like if you lived in Summers Corner.

Even more importantly, the community will be offering classes from Clemson Master Gardeners and hosting a plant and flower sale as a way to show the crucial role each of us play in preserving our community’s natural beauty. This is a mission that is near and dear to our hearts, since our Summers Corner community is part of the recent East Edisto Conservatory project.

Our homes fall within the small portion of the roughly 17,000-acre East Edisto tract that is being developed, while the other 75 percent, or 53,000 acres, will remain untouched.

So while the flowers and trees begin to come to life as Spring approaches, we hope our Home and Garden Party on March 12th will serve as a reminder that there is plenty of beauty to be found in our community, and it is up to us to preserve that beauty for generations to come.
