Across the board, the staff at Sabal Homes was most helpful. The company demonstrated, from start to finish, that they value their customer and their goal is to satisfy their customer.
Between relocating due to a new job and a new baby on the way, we really did not have the time or patience for a lot of nonsense. So when we found this Sabal Home community, and the experience was so relaxed and the homes were so exactly what we wanted, we knew we did not have to look any further.
I would definitely recommend a Sabal Home to everyone I know. They have a great team that absolutely stands by what they say will be done. They even had our house done before our estimated closing date.
We have already recommended Sabal Homes to family and friends. Mostly because of the folks who work here and the floor plans. We are even considering purchasing another house in the same neighborhood before it is complete.
"The Quality of the Home for the Price Was Tremendous"
Because she works in the construction industry, Candice Barnhart knew what to look for in a new home. She and her husband Brian were in the market for a unique, stylish home with a flexible floor plan to accommodate the needs of themselves and their three children.
At Foxbank Plantation, the Barnharts were delighted to find a three-bedroom home, with an option for a fourth bedroom on the first floor. "So many standard offerings, like HardiPlank siding, large porches and a bonus room, would have been extras with any other builder," says Candice.
Another big plus for the Barnharts was the attention they received from Sabal. "We could pick up the phone and call one of the owners, our builder or the sales manager at any time. We were never lost in the process." And when it looked like a low interest rate was about to disappear, the Sabal team worked with the Barnharts to close promptly so they could take advantage of the favorable rate.
The bottom line for these happy homeowners was simple: "Sabal exceeded our expectations."
"Right There With Us"
A trusted mortgage lender introduced Benita and Justin Pearson to Sabal Homes and they never looked back. The couple, both natives
of the Charleston area, wanted plenty of room for themselves and their two teen-age boys. This young military family also sought top schools and a strong sense of community. They found all that, and more, at The Reserve at Eagle Run.
"The Charlestonian look of the home is what first attracted us," says Justin. "Once we got inside we also loved the spaciousness of the family room and the master bedroom suite with a door leading right to the patio." The Pearson's took advantage of upgrade opportunities and selected distinctive, yet affordable lighting, fixtures and cabinets.
"Sabal did everything to make us comfortable as far as for pricing, and the overall building process. We found their involvement in the process and attention to detail were phenomenal. No matter how minute a question we had, they were right there with a timely response," Justin adds.
A well-crafted home in the city they love...high-value extras...and great local schools. Doesn't get better than that for the Pearson family!
"What Sold Me Was the Size of the Home and the Price"
As a first-time homeowner, Emanuel Dela Cruz had high expectations - he wanted a sizable home where he and his 10-month-old son would be comfortable for a long time to come. Discovering Sabal Homes' Abbey at Wescott was the first step toward realizing his dream.
"Other places I looked just didn't deliver the size I wanted. I really got what I was looking for from Sabal," he says. Although value was at the top of his priority list, the all-stainless steel appliances and care-free lawn were also big plusses.
As well, Emanuel appreciated the customer service and assistance he received from the Sabal team. "Initially, we were going to build a new home at the Abbey, but I went with available inventory so I could lock in a low interest rate. Sabal was with me throughout the whole process."
Content with his gracious three-bedroom home, "Manny" Dela Cruz is feeling just fine about his first experience as a homeowner. He got the home he wanted and the help he deserved.
"Nothing Else Compared"
"Our real estate agent said he knew the minute we walked in that this was the house for us. And he was right!" says Kimberlee Westlake. She and her husband David had been stationed in the Charleston area several years ago and loved it. After a stint in Virginia Beach, the Westlakes jumped at the chance to return to Charleston with their two children.
Kimberlee says they never imagined they'd be able to afford the quality of home they discovered at The Reserve at Eagle Run. "Just pulling into the neighborhood, there's such a charming feeling. It has exactly the warm and inviting character we were looking for."
What delighted them even more was the opportunity to make choices about flooring and lighting. Says Kimberlee: "The process was incredibly smooth. Everyone in the office was easy to work with and we were amazed to see Sabal executives attending to things in our home!"
From the very first week, the children were surrounded by playmates, and the Westlakes quickly established friendships with their neighbors. They're back where they belong in a house they absolutely love.
"No Other Builder Even Came Close"
When it was time to purchase a new home, Julie and Brian Glasshof dug right in. "The first Sabal Homes community we saw was Foxbank Plantation, but we didn't stop there. We visited every other development by every other builder in the area, but kept coming back to Foxbank." Julie says when it came to quality and price, there was just no comparison.
The Glasshofs were able to take advantage of an all-new floor plan that offered a downstairs master suite, which was perfect for Julie's mother who was moving in. As well, the Sabal team was able to convert the garage into a comfortable apartment for Brian's parents. That left plenty of room upstairs for the couple and their two young children.
"There were just so many details we loved - everything from the traditional blue-ceiling on the porch to the Hardiplank siding," recalls Julie. "During our garage conversion Todd had great ideas like a simple disposal switch on my countertop! We never could have gotten this kind of quality and service from a track builder!"
