Have a blast at Patriot’s Point this 4th of July

Celebrate the 4th of July at Mt. Pleasant’s signature patriotic extravaganza. In its 13th year, the annual 4th of July Blast will be held at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum. The festivities are planned to take place from 4 p.m. to midnight and include. live music on two stages and a ‘Kidz Zone’ play area featuring eight attractions. Kids will get the opportunity to explore an 83-foot inflatable replica of an aircraft carrier, a 40-foot Ferris wheel and get a taste of traditional 4th of July treats at the food and beverage garden.

Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens 2009 Summer Beach Blast

Enjoy an evening of good music and great fun at the Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens 2009 Summer Beach Blast this Saturday, June 27th. Bring your beach blankets and lawn chairs, all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of summer and the beats of the beach. The headline performers at the concert are The Original Tams, The Legends of the Beach, Billy Scott and The Prophets and The Sugarbees. Also performing will be Jeff Hall, one of the original Drifters, and Nature Blu Shag Champions Sam and List West, who will be giving shag demonstrations and lessons. There will also be a 1600 sq. ft. dance floor to show off your new dance moves on!
